Ryan Moeller is a 2017 LHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Mountain View, CA who attends St Francis HS. Nice athletic build, projects well physically and should continue to get stronger. Drop and drive delivery with back leg collapse, very long arm action and shows ball in back, loose arm coming through to a mid 3/4's arm slot, bit cross body on release, good overall pace to his delivery. Low 70's fastball, topped out at 74 mph, works low in the zone well, fastball mostly straight but throws it to spots. Rare off-speed pitches, development as a pitcher will depend on learning and using his breaking ball and change up effectively, should gain more fastball velocity with physical maturity. Very good student.
