Zachary Britt is a 2017 C with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Centennial HS. Young medium build, beginnings of some present strength. Right handed hitter, crouched stance, high tension pre-swing load, keeps his swing short and direct to the ball, attacks the ball aggressively and makes line drive contact to all fields, has some bat speed but can benefit from more looseness and fluidity to his overall approach. Sound overall defensive mechanics, simple and quick exchange and release throwing the ball, arm strength still developing but 2.06 pop due to release and accuracy, drops and blocks well on pitches in the dirt, receives the ball cleanly and under control. Good balance of offensive and defensive skills and understands how to catch. Should continue to improve with strength and physical development. Good student.
