Conor Bowen is a 2019 C/OF, RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Etowah. Medium frame with athletic, solid present build; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Sets up to hit from wide-based, open stance with high hands and back elbow in set. Toe tap timing mechanism, line drive swing plane with good hand quickness, very short and compact path to the ball, works back up the middle and to the opposite field consistently. Shifts well in lower half, good line drive contact consistently. Worked out defensively behind the plate and showed well there. Clean set when caching, receives well out front and shows good fluidity through movements and actions. Feet work easily with athleticism and ease, gains ground well forward into throw down and doesn't waste any time or movement. Good accuracy downhill to 2nd base, popped as low as 2.03 seconds and threw 70 MPH from catcher position. Very good student.
