Evan O'Brien is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Allatoona HS. Lean and slender frame with room to fill throughout with additional strength. Only pitched at the event, righthanded pitcher, begins his easy delivery with a lower leg lift up to his balance point, drives down the mound with developing use of his lower half off of the rubber, keeps direction to the plate with mechanical actions to his delivery overall, takes the baseball back to a full arm stroke up to a low 3/4 arm slot, reaches extension out front with a full follow through. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with consistent life to armside and sinking action as well, curveball has 11-to-5 shape with developing spin, changeup has maintained arm speed and similar action on the pitch as his fastball, filled up the strike zone with a three pitch mix to both sides of the plate.
