Javier Ramos is a 2017 OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Big and thick physical build, has good physical strength. Right handed hitter, high back elbow load, keeps his swing short to the ball and tends to cut off out front, limited lower half shift into contact, exaggerates shortness in his swing instead of bat speed, will flash hard barrel impact when the barrel head gets out but not consistent at present, the tools are there to improve with adjustments. 7.37 runner, has some arm strength and makes accurate throws from the outfield, left field tools, also plays first base.
