Tristin Aguiar is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Chatfield, MN who attends Chatfield. Smaller build, with projectable frame. At the plate shows a slightly open stance with a higher hand set. Loads with a coiled front side and launches with rotational mechanics and some stiff actions to contact, tends to shoot hands to outside half of the baseball on contact. Shows a level swing plane that produces some line drive pop and groundball contact to pull side. Shows good balance throughout swing. Worked out from the infield with long, loose overtop arm actions, topped at 71 mph. Showed clean transitions into throws across the infield. Has some funneling glove work when the ball is out front. Range is suited for a corner infield position. Good student.
