Connor Noland is a 2018 RHP/OF, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Greenwood, AR who attends Greenwood High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength, has additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, full hand path with leg lift slightly up past belt, arm comes through the backside nicely and works to a three-quarters arm slot. Generates solid plane to fastball down in zone, topped out at 88 mph with nice balance and rhythm to delivery. Consistent running life to arm side, holds velocity out of stretch and can harness life to either side of plate with intent. Curveball shows sharp bite down in the zone, maintains arm quickness with 11-5 shape and late depth, occasionally gets around the pitch. Flashed changeup at 82 mph. Shows athleticism moving to ball in the outfield, similar arm action and gets on top well, quick transfer and release with present strength to throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high leg lift trigger and showing timing mechanisms to swing. Short and quick swing with quick hands, short path and has a nice feel for the barrel. On time with swing, sound and approach and shows comfort working up the middle with jump off the barrel. Big time athlete, highly sought after quarterback prospect as well. Excellent student. Named to Junior National Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Arkansas.
