Kelonte Gutrich is a 2016 OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Scottsburg, VA who attends Halifax County HS. Nice, athletic frame with solid, lean build. Projects well and can add further strength without sacrificing present athleticism. Outfielder with solid athleticism, moves to ball pretty well, uses a compact arm action and shows developing arm strength. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, medium leg lift has good balance and timing. Shows an aggressive approach, swings hard, with slightly uphill plane, looseness and fluidity to the swing, can hit off backside at times, shows midfield approach and contact with ability to shoot balls into the gaps.
