Keith Hale Jr. is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Liberty. Large frame with a solid, athletic build and present strength throughout. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 7.12 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth paced, fulid actions while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions while working through baseball and transfer. Produces good arm speed and whip with a loose arm action through extension. Throws produced good carry to the bag with accuracy, topped at 87 mph. Right handed hitter with a straight, balanced stance. Rocks to back side at load while hips launch to contact with quick actions. Hands start at a slight coiled position and launch on an extended path to contact. Barrel comes through the zone on an inside plane to baseball creating occasional extension through finish. Shows bat speed through the zone with good strength, generates solid jump to each gap when squared. Tools will continue to develop with continued physical development and repetition. Good student.
