Scott Gellman is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends St Andrews Episcopal Academy HS. Has a large frame and large build, present size throughout. On the mound, has a quick tempo to delivery while creating deception hiding the ball through windup. Gets good extension and finish out front. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a long arm circle through the back. Fastball has arm side run and sinking action, curveball has 11/5 shape with solid depth, slider has good break and bite. Stays balanced and has an idea how to pitch. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with open, upright stance. Transfers weight well into contact, good hands and feel for the barrel, flashed pop and carry. Good student.
