Harrison Hayes is a 2017 3B/SS with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Western Springs, IL who attends Fenwick. Large frame with solid build throughout body at present; still projects as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based, upright stance with big stride forward into swing. Shows inside-out swing path with intent to hit the ball back up the middle or to the opposite field, has obvious strength in swing, does a good job attempting to create elevation off the barrel. Flashes good power. Worked out defensively in the infield. Shows good hands at the ball with clean bend, fields cleanly both to forehand and backhand, has good range for 3B position with solid footwork. Has quality arm strength with good accuracy on throws, clocked up to 84 MPH across the diamond. Excellent student.
