Brian Fuentes is a 2016 C with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Madre Matilde - Caracas Venezuela. Strong compact build, especially in the lower half. Right handed hitter, late leg raise trigger, good shift into contact, swings hard and creates very good raw bat speed, loose swing with good extension out front, over swings and loses balance at times, has power and can drive the ball. Quick actions behind the plate, shifts well, compact quick release with a cross body low arm slot release, quickness over arm strength in his throws, 1.96 best pop time. Good student.
