Jake Malone is a 2015 SS/2B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Maple Valley, WA who attends Tahoma Senior HS. Slender young middle infielder's build. 7.38 runner, clean balanced actions in the infield defensively, soft hands, good footwork through the ball, arm works well with good accuracy and accurate throws. Right handed hitter, wide stance, has good bat speed from an aggressive swing approach and showed power and the ability to drive the ball hard up the gaps, hits to the middle of the field, fast hands, will occasionally overswing and pull off but overall the approach is sound and well executed. Good student.
