Isaiah Harris is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends East Coweta. Medium frame with physical, strong present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Sets up to hit from medium-based stance with open front hip, high hands with low back elbow set. Leg lift timing mechanism, hands get moving on time and create clean path to the ball, swings the bat hard with good intent and gets on line drive swing plane. Shows good strength in swing throughout, stays committed to the middle of the field and is comfortable working to all fields as well. Worked out defensively in the outfield, moves well to ball and lines it up with good footwork, fields cleanly out front and shows efficient footwork and overall movements through entire defensive mechanics. Quick transfer, shows good accuracy on throws back to the infield, arm strength clocked up to 78 MPH. Good student.
