Cason Sarvis is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Trinity School Of Durham And Chapel Hill. Medium frame with young, athletic present build and good physical projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary pitcher, shows shorter arm action with quickness to mid 3/4 slot, deliberate-paced delivery to clean balance point, uses legs well when driving downhill to the plate. Delivery remains online through release. FB worked 70-74, did good job of pitching to both sides of plate with the pitch. Showed CB with 11/5 shape and quality depth; overall good feel for pitching with solid projection. Hits with high hand set, shows clean path to the ball with line drive swing, solid feel for the barrel, good hand-eye coordination, hits to all fields with developing strength off the barrel. Good first step in the OF, moves to ball well and fields cleanly with aggressiveness, stays balanced through gather and release, made consistently accurate throws up to 75 MPH. Very good student.
