Josh Meiners is a 2016 RHP with a 6-7 185 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel HS. Very tall, long, lean build. Lots of room to project additional strength and muscle mass. Long-limbed, presents a lot of moving parts for hitters to look at, adjust to. Long arm action with small hook to a slightly crossfire landing. Developing feel for delivery, works to a higher 3/4 arm slot and has some downward plane. Fastball up to 77 mph, pitch has big cutting action and flashes late life. Barrel missing pitch that generates lots of groundballs. Also mixes in a low-60s curveball with developing feel and shape. Projectable arm to keep an eye on as he matures. Tremendous student.
