Brice Smith is a 2015 3B/1B, RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Fort Payne, AL who attends Plainview. Medium, athletic build with a lean, muscular build and a strong lower half. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, moves well on his feet and takes short steps to the ball, full arm circle on throws across, accurate with strength that will continue to develop. Also pitched, throws from an over the top arm slot and works from a deliberate, steady tempo delivery. Slight wrap in back side, topped out at 73 mph with fastball, showing some cutting action with sink and had a nice feel for a 12-6 curveball with nice depth at 63 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and uses a toe tap trigger for timing. Uses lower half well in swing, generates extension out front with leverage at contact. Has some length to swing, looks to lift and generates nice bat speed in swing.
