James "Trey" Craig is a 2017 OF/1B/LHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Ben C Rain HS. Craig has a young slender frame with room to fill out as he matures. Runs well, posted a 6.78 60. From the outfield, had very raw actions with developing arm strength and accuracy. At the plate, switch hitter with the same stance from each side. Starts with a standard stance and looks to go middle to opposite field with contact. Stays inside the ball, leaky front side. Also pitched, pounds the zone with deceptiveness, tends to miss barrels. Fields his position well. Good student.
