Tyler Robinson is a 2017 1B/RHP with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Elkton, MD who attends North East High School. Large thick build with present strength in body. Hits from a square stance, leg lift trigger. Short swing path, keeps hands inside ball well. Pull approach with contact out front. Showed developing bat speed. Defensively, primary first baseman, fields ball out front, moves well around base, sure accurate throws. Also pitched, over the top arm slot with a full hand path through release. Good balance and direction in delivery. Fastball is deceptive as he hides ball well. Fastball had arm side run down in zone and also showed command to the glove side. Good Student.
