Rafael Jose Miralles is a 2017 3B/MIF with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Tamarac, FL who attends Florida Virtual HS. Lean, projectable frame with room to continue to fill out with additional strength. Primary third baseman, fields the ball well out front, short steps to the ball with a compact release and arm action, arm strength across the diamond will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with a crouched stance and medium hand set. Long, line drive swing plane with an aggressive approach, gets to front side early at times. Upper body swing, creates consistent line drive contact to pull side. Outstanding student.
