Mark Frankhouser is a 2016 2B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Cibolo, TX who attends Byron P Steele HS. Medium prototypical middle infielder's build, has room to get stronger. 6.76 runner, high energy defender with quick feet and hands, has nice range and gets in good position to field the ball, second base arm strength but makes accurate throws with a quick exchange and release, quality defensive second baseman. Right handed hitter, open stance, late close with his front foot, short compact upper body hand generated swing, has quick and strong hands that produce bat speed and nice in swing adjustments, high average approach, swings hard and has some left centerfield gap power. Solid all around player who will play at the next level. Good student.
