2014 Caribbean Underclass Showcase
Sergio Burgos is a 2016 OF/2B with a 5-7 153 lb. frame from Punta Santiago, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Young, slender, athletic frame with room to add strength. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Charges the ball hard in the outfield and makes accurate throws. Raw arm strength is still developing but flashes carry and moves well. Bats right-handed, works from an open setup and hits to the middle of the field. Flashes power to the opposite field and shows bat speed. Very good student.
