Sam Abrahams is a 2015 C/1B, SS with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Natick, MA who attends Natick. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and nice present strength on his frame. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, moves well behind the plate on his feet, receives well out front, shows athletic actions, will continue to develop arm strength down to second base. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even stance and a low hand set. Barred start, has a short bat path to the ball, uses a toe twist trigger for timing, looks to lift in swing but does a nice job of covering the plate and shows the ability to hit to the opposite field with intent.
