Payton Burson is a 2015 OF/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from College Station, TX who attends College Station HS. Medium, athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, works through the ball well, lengthened release, crow hop to gain momentum, around the bag with some strength on throws. Takes long strides to the ball in the infield, fields the ball out front, full arm action across the diamond with strength that will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, pulls hands back at start of swing, sound approach with a plan at the plate. Swings hard, gets the barrel through the zone, hits to the middle of the field and shows ability and comfort to go the other way.
