Ciaran Devenney is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends St John Vianney HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Solid arm strength behind the plate, good carry on his throws, footwork/stride tend to be long throwing, 1.96 best pop time in drills. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, deep and still high hand start, can develop better hitting rhythm. Has a short compact swing with good hand quickness, takes and inside swing path and works mid field to opposite field, consistent line drive contact, high average approach. Good student.
