Brian Kelly is a 2018 OF/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Summit, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory High School. Large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out and develop physically. Posted a 7.48 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields deep, long release, showed accurate to the bag, and arm strength up to 83 mph. At the plate, started with an open stance, slight hunch, active hands, high back elbow, and leg lift timing mechanism. Deeper hip coil, lets ball get deep, generated good bat speed, and had impacted the ball off the barrel. Good carry to the caps, flashed a line drive swing plane, and good quickness to hands. Outstanding student. Named to Top Prospect List.
