Ty Rieger is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 5-8 148 lb. frame from Bridgeton, NJ. Medium, young built with room to add significant strength with maturity. Good athlete. Ran a 7.55 60 yard dash. Shows good carry on his throws from the outfield and is consistently accurate. Charges hard and shows good range. Bats left-handed, works from an open setup and has a fluid swing path. Flashes good lift and power potential. Comes off his barrel well and hits to all fields. Also took the mound, topped at 73 mph from a high three-quarter arm slot. Has a slight hip turn in his delivery and creates good deception. Flashes a 1-7 curveball with good depth. Knows how to mix and pitch to contact.
