Troy Vigil is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Mentone, CA who attends Redlands East Valley HS. Vigil has a medium build with room to fill out. Hits from a slightly open stance, line drive swing plane with good extension through contact. Creates line drives with back spin, repeats swing well. Sits on back leg and stays balanced, power will develop with more lower half drive. Mid field to pull approach. Defensively, primary MIF, hands and feet work well, circles ball well. Shorter arm action with accurate throws. Good Student.
