Jacob Maggi is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Wexford, PA who attends Pine-Richland HS. Medium frame, slender build, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.11 60-yard dash, ,moves well in the field and on the bases. From the infields, fields the ball out in front, athletic actions, smooth transfer, short compact arm action with quickness and carry on throws. Made several difficult plays during games, great range up the middle. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly open, upright stance and a hand set close to the body. Swings on a line drive swing plane. Good bat speed at the plate with consistent feel for the barrel. Showed raw power, generates good carry to the opposite field gap. Projectable tools and frame. Excellent student. Named to Mid Atlantic Under Top Prospect List.
