Tyus Beach is a 2017 C/3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Alto, MI who attends East Kentwood HS. Compact strong young build. Right handed hitter, very complicated timer and load, lays bat on shoulder, has fast hands and creates raw bat speed, ball comes off the barrel well when squared, line drive swing plane, has hitting tools but will need to simplify his approach against better pitching. Good quickness behind the plate, shows athleticism and is a willing blocker, arm action can be shortened, 2.07 pop in drills, makes good game throws. Young catcher with the athleticism to keep improving. Good student.
