Stephen Lund is a 2018 C/3B/SS with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Verona HS. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Has good lower half flexibility behind the plate, shifts well and stays balanced, blocks the ball well with agility, game actions in drills, 1.93 best pop time, arm action is long and loose but exchange is quick and clean, plenty of raw arm strength. Right handed hitter, straight tall stance, simple short swing approach, hands stay tight and take a direct path to the ball, line drive high average swing, squares the ball up to all fields, has the strength to reach the gaps. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Gonzaga.
