Zachariah Walker is a 2015 UT with a 5-9 162 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball HS. Slender young frame, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.07 runner, can play all over the field defensively, has quick feet and shows range at all positions, can improve release and arm action at all positions as well, build and tools seem to profile best at either second base or centerfield with improved throwing mechanics. Right handed hitter, closes spread stance, has hand quickness and bat speed at times, game swings better than batting practice swings, stayed short and compact and worked around the field, has hitting tools to improve with additional strength. Showed good instincts and aggressiveness on the bases. Also pitched, medium length arm circle, 3/4's slot and will drop lower at times, commanded slurve type breaking ball well and was effective. Very good student.
