2015 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Teddy Beaudet is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Franklin, NH who attends New Hampton. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength throughout well proportioned frame. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, loose actions behind the plate, pops out well and gains ground with lower half, short and quick arm action, gets on top of the ball with a quick release, accurate throws with solid arm strength and carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a high hand set in the box. Upper body swing, uses hands well and is able to generate lift out front at contact. Strength in frame plays into swing and projects well with more lower half incorporated. Shows a nice feel for the barrel and consistent contact coming off to pull side, carries when squared off barrel. Verbal commitment to Northeastern. Very good student.
