Tom Kim is a 2016 C/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Singapore, SGP who attends Singapore American School. Strong and physical build at present with some projection for further growth and strength. Right handed hitter, straight stance with high back elbow. Displayed good bat speed and strong, quick hands. Solid mid-field contact and balls carried well when he was able to keep lower half in sync with rest of body. Showed solid defensive skills both behind the plate and in the infield. Primary catcher, has solid footwork with good arm strength and accurate throws, but can throw too uphill at times. Solid athlete with good range in infield, 6.95 runner. Native of Singapore. Should continue to improve with more reps and experience. Very good student.
