Kevin Dupuis is a 2016 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood HS. Medium athletic build, room to get project additional strength, muscle. 6.92 runner, has sound fundamentals in the outfield, shows good actions, accurate throws, could work thorugh a bit more consistently. Right handed hitter, open and spread stance with high hand set, gets closed and online at contact. Showed ability to use entire field, solid feel for the barrel, can work inside the baseball at times, shows solid batspeed and looseness, natural loft in swing. Repeats mechanics with late explosion, finish through contact. Also pitches, has long, loose arm action to overhand arm slot. Fastball up to 82 mph, shows some cutting action at times, ability to locate and get hitters to chase high in zone. Also mixes in a curveball with varied break, shows good shape and potential to tighten up offering. Excellent student.
