Philip Benjamin McCarty is a 2016 2B/OF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Centennial. Medium frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, fields the ball out front well, shows quickness and some range to the ball, lower arm slot with a short arm action in back, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starters with a low hand set and a slightly open base. Upper body swing with barred start, shows a direct barrel path to the ball with a consistent feel for the barrel. Contact approach in the box with nice contact to pull side. Good student.
