2015 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Noah Liles is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Angier, NC who attends West Johnston. Medium-large frame with athletic, solid present build and good projection on the body moving forward. Ran well, posting a 6.84 seconds 60 yard dash time. Switch hitter, bat waggle from right side with quick hands to the ball, simple and short, transfers weight well and shows solid line drive jump off the barrel when squared. A bit more spread out from the left side, bigger stride into contact, has a bit more loft and overall power from left side as well. Better contact skills from right side; more power skill from left side. Worked out defensively in the OF. Athletic actions, moves to ball well, fields cleanly and works through it, quick and clean transition with overall smooth actions. Quick release, accurate to 3B and home with OF velocity topping at 78 MPH. Named to 2015 Atlantic Coast Top Showcase Top Prospect List. Very good student.
