Kevin Ferrer is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Pawcatuck, CT who attends Stonington. Medium frame with athletic, quality present build with good athleticism. Ran very well, posting a 6.75 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance, smaller drifting leg lift, wraps a bit to create separation, shows hands that work quite well onto line drive swing plane with quality bat speed. Has good strength in swing, approach is to use the whole field with authority, shows ability to consistently drill liners to all fields. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball aggressively and fields cleanly, works through the ball well and maintains balance, transfer is quick and clean, arm strength clocked up to 78 mph. Named to 2017 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
