Austin Roccaforte is a 2019 SS with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball Memorial. Slender young build with deceptive strength and athleticism. 6.85 runner, is very light and quick on his feet, has very good range going in all directions and can make plays on the move with polished footwork, quick soft hands at the ball, enough arm strength to play shortstop at the next level or excel at second base. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance and has a well balanced and directional swing with quick hands and bat speed, very consistent trigger, gets off his backside and through contact well, gets surprising carry to left centerfield. Good student.
