Robert Pinataro is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Binghamton, NY who attends Chenango Forks HS. Compact build with present strength. Looks the part behind the plate. Soft hands, receives the ball deep, arm works well, solid arm strength and accurate throws. Developing footwork, gains ground in throws, but could shorten release a bit. Right handed hitter, wide base, spread stance. Works inside ball with short, quick swing, shows ability to work the opposite field comfortably. Still developing a consistent feel for pulling ball, could work to get extended more consistently. Outstanding student.
