Zach McKinney is a 2016 2B/SS, OF, RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Elizabethtown, KY who attends Elizabethtown. Medium frame, lean build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, looks the part as he stays low to the ground and bends well, nice soft hands. Shows ability to work through the ball, uses lower half and generates good carry, accuracy on throws. Right handed hitter, open stance with toe-tap timing mechanism. Hands close to body, shows ability to repeat longer line drive swing plane, solid middle of the field approach with good plate discipline. Solid overall skill set with good instincts and feel for the game. Excellent student.
