Doug Case is a 2015 3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Littleton, CO who attends Dakota Ridge HS. Case has a large frame with a thick build. Defensively he has short choppy steps to the baseball and works through the ball well. He showed good footwork on the backhanded play and looked solid on the slow roller. Case throws from a lower slot and made accurate throws. At the plate, he starts with an upright stance and has busy hands at set up. He has an upper body swing and swings on an uppercut path. He has some bat speed and has developing power. With a few lower half adjustments, there's more bat speed and power potential in there. Very good student.
