Ryan Kroko is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia, with a 6'5'', 190 lb. frame. He has a tall and lean body with long limbs, and is very projectable. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 to low 3/4 arm action with a short arm circle on the back side. Kroko get good extension out front and finishes his pitches well. His fastball topped out at 84 mph with good sinking action, and he works in on the right handed hitter. Kroko also throws a hard and tight slider at 72 mph . Between his sinking fastball with late life and his hard slider, Kroko should induce many groundballs. He also threw a 70 mph curveball and a 78 mph straight change up. At times he drops his arm angle down, especially against right handed hitters, and he has solid control of all his pitches. Kroko has good upside.
