James Peel is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Brentwood, NH who attends Exeter. Large, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 6.91 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball, short arm action in the back, stays tall at release, accurate throws to intended bases, will continue to develop arm strength with the incorporation of lower half into throws. Left-handed hitter,s tarts with a wide base and a low hand set. Small leg kick trigger, shows nice bat speed through the zone with quick hands, shows nice plate coverage and creates line drive contact, balls carries off the barrel to pull side and has a strong feel to hit up the middle. Good student.
