Ray Swyers is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Kerrville, TX who attends Kerrville Tivy HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to add strength. Left handed hitter, simple swing mechanics with limited lower half use, has good hand quickness and stays short to the ball, line drive swing plane, ball comes off the barrel well, mid field approach, tools to improve with additional strength. 7.61 runner, can improve routes and footwork to the ball in the outfield, compact arm action with good looseness out front, accurate throws. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot, fastball topped at 78 mph, big slow curveball. Outstanding student.
