Mason Feldman is a 2017 3B/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Pembroke Pines Charter. Has a medium frame, athletic build, long arms, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.60 60-yard dash. From the infield, has short footwork to the baseball, developing hands, and good actions moving in on balls. Made accurate throws with arm strength up to 76 MPH. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a wide base, balanced stance, and high back elbow. Has a middle of the field approach while still showing good aggressiveness early in counts. Showed ability to turn on the inside pitch. Developing bat speed and extension through the baseball. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Fastball has natural cutting action, not afraid to challenge hitters up in the zone. Curveball has 11/5 shape with big break and solid depth. Changeup displayed fading action down in the zone. Excellent student.
