Kalani Matton is a 2017 MIF/3B with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Walnut, CA who attends Damien. Young, strongly built, athletic frame with room to add strength. Ran a 7.48 60 yard dash. Hands work well on the infield and shows better than average range. Has a quiet, quick transfer. Flashes arm strength and makes the play on the charge well. Bats right-handed, works from a high hand set and has a high leg kick trigger. Shows leverage and squares the ball consistently. Projects to continue improving. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
