Jack Blaznek is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Thousand Oaks, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Large frame with long limbs and a lean, athletic build. Body projects for additional strength with continued physical development. Primary right handed pitcher, Good balance at gather while lower half creates directional drive to the glove side edge of the plate. Releases with a compact arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball comes out of hand cleanly creating solid sinking action down in the zone with occasional running action, topped at 81 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with occasional tight spin and depth in the upper 60's. Also flashed a changeup that showed fading actions with slight arm side run in the mid 70's. Changeup offering has some deception that matches fastball arm speed and release point. Consistently filled the strike zone with all three pitches. Induces a lot of weak contact and missed barrels due to movement of each pitch. Good student as well.
