Michael Trombino is a 5'11" 145 pound 2008 right handed pitcher and corner infielder from Calvary Christian in Boca Raton, Florida. He has a narrow slender build with room to add muscle. Michael knows how to pitch and has a good mound presence. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and showed good command of his pitches. He threw his fastball at 78 mph and his change up at 68 mph. His curveball seemed to be his favorite pitch at 65 mph. Trombino has good hands and balanced feet in the field. He stays low to field the ball and has good body control. He threw 74 mph across the infield and his throws were online. At the plate, Michael is short to the ball and has a quiet approach. He is a patient hitter with good swing mechanics. He has good bat speed and he makes solid line drive contact to all fields. He does have some power in his bat and he had a ball register 86 mph off his bat during the game. Michael is a young player who will continue to improve. He is also a good student with a 3.1 gpa.
