2007 Holiday Open Showcase
Spencer Theisen is a 2007 OF that attends Bishop Moore HS and resides in Longwood, FL with a 5'10", 180 lb. frame. Spencer has an athletic build and showed great outfield tools at the showcase. At the plate Spencer shows a short line-drive swing with good balance and leverage. He has good strength and bat speed and should be able to hit for a high average. Spencer can turn on the ball and there is no real weakness in his offensive game. In the outfield Spencer showed online actions with a strong arm and good range. He has the tools needed to be a very solid rightfielder. Spencer plays for one of the top high schools in Florida and will attract the attention of many high-level college programs.
